My Coffee Journey - Common ritual partly out of social conformity and partly for the wakeful buzz

I began my coffee journey while working at a bank, where I found myself joining in on the common ritual partly out of social conformity and partly for the wakeful buzz it promised. Initially, I drank my coffee black, occasionally indulging in cream and sugar for a sweet treat after my first cup of the day.

Over 25 years of consistent consumption, my palate evolved, developing a nuanced appreciation for coffee. More intriguingly, I became attuned to the varied effects different coffees had on me—ranging from feeling awake, jittery, and talkative to euphoric, focused, and happy, but sometimes also leading to discomfort like nausea, sour stomach and even feeling grumpy.

It's evident that our relationship with coffee transcends mere taste; we seek the unique feelings it invokes. My curiosity led me to experiment with different blends, seeking that perfect morning elixir that not only tastes incredible but enhances my well-being.

This quest has sparked a desire to discover the ideal coffee that resonates with me personally, and to share these discoveries with a wider audience. I'm eager to relay my experiences, highlighting how each variety affects me.

Our website is dedicated to uncovering the finest coffees from around the globe, inviting you to embark on this journey alongside me. Your insights and feedback on the coffees I review and recommend will be invaluable as we navigate this path together. If you have any suggestions or would like to contribute to our criteria for selection, please reach out to me at

Thank you for joining me in this endeavor. I look forward to sharing our collective experiences.

  • Stomach-friendly: Low-acid options that are gentle on the digestive system.
  • Natural Growth: Beans are organically cultivated to full maturity, ensuring a nutrient-rich profile.
  • Processing: Sun-dried and washed with spring water before roasting for optimal quality.

Sourcing Practices:

  • Ethical Sourcing: We source the world's top coffee from small-scale farms, preferably within or near national parks.
  • Organic Certification: Our coffee is certified organic, and undergoes third-party testing for mycotoxins, molds, heavy metals, pesticides, and over 400 other toxins to guarantee purity.
  • Single Origin: To prevent cross-contamination, we select single-origin beans that are handpicked, grown at high elevations, and shade-grown.
  • Quality Assurance: Third-party testing is conducted to ensure our beans are free from mycotoxins, molds, bacteria, pesticides, heavy metals, and other toxins.

Sustainability and Ethical Considerations: We are committed to sustainability and ethical practices in our coffee sourcing, ensuring that our enjoyment does not come at the expense of the environment or the well-being of those who grow and harvest our coffee.

Customer Preferences: Your taste and health are paramount. We continually adapt our selection criteria based on your feedback, striving to offer coffees that not only delight but also contribute to your overall well-being.
